Your headings should be

H3
Body text -- I can adjust colors, fonts and sizing separately across the website -- haven't really focused on that yet.
In the left column, you can change the article to unpublished until it's ready to go.
To show up on the home screen the Category on the left should be Minch's Commentary.
The first 100 characters of your article will appear under the title on the home page (I can increase/decrease that).
Now click "Save & Close"
